I give it a 5/10. You have to know that a 5 for me just means average. It isn't a bad movie. It's ok.
It is the American Civil War and a small raiding Union Army patrol goes to a small farm in the south, belonging to the Anders family, to steal enemy supplies. Sarah Anders' husband is off fighting for the Confederate Army. One of the union troops falls in the barn while he's trying to steal chickens and lands on a sharp rake running the blades through his body. The soldier needs to stay at the farm and heal so the troops stick around for a while.
It was a pleasant surprise. I've never even heard of this movie.
If you like Civil War movies, check it out. It's based on a true story.
